Question

My dad past away last summer. He was incarcerated in a state prison. I have a cousin (whom I do not trust) claims that my dad made her executor of his estate. My father did not own any land or have any money. He did have valuable guns and some items that I would like to have. He was in prison most of my adult life, so I never saught to get legal guardianship or whatever for my dad. Do I as an only child, have any rights?

Answer

To be an executor, there has to be a will. You have failed to tell us what the will said.
