What is the difference between visual and dramatic art?

What is the difference between visual and dramatic art?
Visual arts can be defined as graphic arts and art (something you might see in an art museum.) Visual arts can cover modern art, classic art, statues, architecture, and ever computer generated art such as video games and even animated cartoons and movies.

Dramatic arts can be defined as anything involving acting. Where visual arts rely on a canvas of sorts to present their media to the audience, dramatic arts rely on actors and real people to convey the message. Theatre and movies are good example of what could be considered as dramatic arts.

Animated films can be put into both categories. As animated movies use actors to bring life to their characters, artist will also bring to life the character as well. But other than animated films, the difference between visual and dramatic arts is one thing: humans. Dramatic arts will use humans to show an idea to an audience, while visual artists use canvas. Hope this helps.
