Will your child be allowed entry into a PG film without an adult present?

Will your child be allowed entry into a PG film without an adult present?
No ---Second Opinion---It actually depends on the theater in question. The current US ratings system is NOT enforceable by Government mandate. Meaning that films are VOLUNTARILY submitted to the Motion Picture Association of America to have a "rating" applied. These "ratings" are mealy meant as "suggestive warnings" to the American Public as to the nature of the film's content in order to allow them to make an informed decision on seeing the film.....not as a means of legally denying the content to those who may be too young to view it.Enforcement of the "rating" system is also VOLUNTARILY on the part of the theater owners/employees. Unfortunately, not nearly enough of them have chosen to carry out this enforcement because they feel the responsibility lies with the parents. The ONLY exception to this are Adult (pornographic) Films. These fall under very specific Federal Laws requiring individuals to be at least 18 years old to view them and actually make providing such material to a minor a Federal Misdemeanor punishable by 5 years in prison.
