Guy walking home from store, local PD stops to check him out, soon joined by black suburban with drug task force officers, they find a half a pill of pain narcotic, put him in truck drive Dow street and point out a house..on way back they tell him that if he don't meet them at 9am to make a drug buy at that house for them they will press charges on the half a pill....this sounds soo wrong...this guy is now terrified for several reasons....any help, comments?

Tell him to hire a lawyer immediately. Obviously the cops think that he has connections to a lot more than what produces half a pill. They can press charges on him because he had the half a pill. But, he needs to talk to a lawyer.
