I have involved in a motor vehicle accident with Ms Elisa in woodbridge,NJ on 28th of May 2014 ,I was summoned for court appearance,
So I show up in the court but judge postponed the case since Elisa didn't show up but two weeks later
I have got a letter from the court that I need to pay some Penalty so that my case has been closed,
I did that and the case has been closed.Now I have got a "Notice of Lien" from some attorney stating that
" As benefits were paid on behalf of Elisa by Direct Energy for her claimed injuries,a worker;s compensation lien has now
attached to those benefits.So either me or my attorney should reach out to these attorney(retained by Direct energy)
prior to their settlement otherwise I will be personally responsible for the same/
