Louisiana / Wills and Trust - My father predeceased my mother. There is not a will or a succession for either parents. I have 3 siblings, two of which live in the family home. Creditors (from credit card debt) are calling looking for payment. Are we required to pay the credit card debt?

Yes. You and your siblings inherit your parents' assets, but also their debts.
Ask the credit card people if there was credit life insurance on the cards. If so, that should pay them off.
