Question

Twenty plus years ago I was arrested on a felony shoplifting charge. However, the charge was reduced to a misdeamor-2nd degree and I paid a $100.00 fine. Is that considered a conviction?

Answer

A conviction for a misdemeanor is still a conviction. You might qualify to get it wiped off your record. You should call Attorney Stephanie Service at 1 866-766-5245 to ask about clearing your record.

Answer

Yes, that is a conviction although you may be eligible to have it set aside. I have been 100% effective on these when the client has been eligible. Tim Klisz kliszlaw.com
