2 females bought a house together; both on the mortgage. how does one buy the other out? What if one doesn't want to leave the house?
Answer
One would have to deed out and the other would have to refinance. If one wants out and the other doesn't, there's an expensive procedure called a motion for partition which can force the sale of the house.
