What is the color of man made features on a map?
There are 3 colors that could fall under man made features on a map, black, red-brown,and or red. Black is the most common representing features such as buildings, roads, surveyed spot elevations and all labels. Red-brown colors are combined sometimes to represent other man made features. Red alone is more commonly found on older maps to represent populated areas, main roads, and boundaries.
