Question

Employment: Age Discrimination

I will be 57 years old this year. I told the president of the company I was thinking about retiring in 3 or 4 years. Two weeks ago he told me he had hired a replacment for me and that I would have to leave by the beginning of summer. I told him that I didn't want to retire now and that is would be three or four years before I could retire. He said he was going to go ahead and replace me now. I am male and he hired a female age 50. Does my employers actions of releasing me because I talked about retirement an act of discrimination?
