I have a customer, first let me say I'm in electrical contractor, I spent many hours figuring a job for a customer all different ways , he also had bids from 2 other contractors.Once all bids were in he called me and said I was 480 dollarS
Higher than everybody else would I lower my 480 dollars . So to get the job i did. Then after pulling permits buying major electrical gear. He said he wanted upgrade for the same price as the lower. When I feasibly could not do that he said I no longer have a job. Is this legal

Answer
Your contract was in writing, right?
Sue him for breach of contract (you'll have to figure up your provable damages first). But send him a demand letter first (certified mail AND regular mail). Use real paper mail, not emails, not text messages.
