Who has the right away the u-turner or the person coming out of a side road?
To clarify...it is "Right of way". The vehicle proceeding normally along the road or making a turn at an intersection has the right of way over a car that is making a u-turn. Of course, the person approaching the u turning car may allow right of way, if there were an accident, the driver proceeding normally would have the right of way and the u turning vehicle would be cited for failing to yield the right of way.
You could ask a police officer about it.
