Why the speed will drop when the AC is on?
an a/c compressor when not on takes about 1 or more hp to turn over because it is belt driven off the motor itself, when you turn on the a/c the compressor takes away 5 or more hp because it now has to work the motor harder which robs power which will make you slow down. tried my best to make it understandable and simple.
