I have been divorced for 5yrs now and my exhusband still has my name on the home he kept. He has been late on the payment and has lowered my credit score. The bank will not allow me to remove my name . My exhusband and I have never spoken since the divorce. Do I really need to get in contact with him to resolve this and am I entitled to anything for him doing this?

The bank will not take you off the note because it wants you liable if your ex chooses not to pay. To resolve this he can get a loan in his own name and pay the bank off. The other option would be for you to file bankruptcy and list the house as a debt.
