Me and my sons father are not together. We have tickets to go to New York for Christmas and New Years. My son's father won't let me take him. Can I go without his permission?
Answer
As long as a Court hasn't stated otherwise, since you were not married to the father, you have the equivalent of "sole" custody. You call all the shots. If a court has already addressed time-sharing, you should refer to the court papers.
