My house has a lien on it and I wanted to know if there is a time limit on a lien.
Answer
No, the lien will stay on the property, and will have to be paid when the property is eventually sold. Unless it is a tax lien, mortgage lien or other lien (homeowners association), that allows the lienholder to begin foreclosure actions and sell your property to collect on the lien.
