Question

Years ago I was a trustee for my mother's trust. It has been discovered, one of the deeds was missing language distributing timber property correctly, that my six siblings own equally together. Two siblings will not sign the corrected grant deed. As past Trustee what can I do?

Answer

It depends on the nature of the mistake and the deed contents. It may be possible to have you as trustee sign a corrective deed. Work with counsel and /or a title company to resolve the issues.
