Question

I have been married for 28 years, a little over a year ago, my inlaws signed over land to my spouse. Does that land become marital assets or is it my spouses assets.

Answer

Depends on the language of the transfer. Also, assuming the property is your spouse's asset alone, it may become marital (or at least part of the value) later in the marriage even though, it was deeded to your spouse alone.
