In Texas will a court split the jurisdiction of children if the case originated in the county where primary custodial parent still resides with 1 of the 3 children? Should I be notified of such a hearing to transfer venue?

They could. Continuing exclusive jurisdiction is as to each child. The idea is that the county where the child actually lives is probably where the most interesting facts are in terms of the child's life and the people around him or her.
If there is a motion to transfer the case to another county, it will be filed after someone files another action, say a Petition to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship. You should receive notice. If you have moved, you should file a change of address notification with the court so they know where to find you.
