my son (age 32) ,a florida resident,died in the emergency room of a florida hospital.He was single,lived at home,had no spouse or children no estate.Hospital is billing him for services performed .Are his parents responsible for the hospital bills?

As long as you did not sign any document agreeing for payment, then NO. and do not agree on the phone with them. Tell them your are not responsible.
